Club Presidents

Alexandra Qi – Co-President of MIT Sloan E&I Club, Class of 2018

Alexandra Qi is currently a second-year LGO student at MIT Sloan, where she serves as Co-President of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club and as VP for the Emerging Technology & Government Club. She is interested in pushing the boundary of current technology status, particularly in the area of robotics, quantum computing and the future of Internet. Since graduation from Cornell University, Alexandra has been design a engineer working on robotic Cheetah in MIT as well as in Corning Inc. to design manufacturing process that improves the production of ultra-high precision display glass and optical fiber.  

Alexandra enjoys swimming, dancing, bouldering. She also loves visiting unknown places that she finds interesting on the map. (LinkedIn)

 

David Morczinek – Co-President of MIT Sloan E&I Club, Class of 2018

David is a second year MBA student at MIT Sloan where he is focused on entrepreneurship in the aviation & transportation industries. At MIT Sloan he serves as Co-President of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club, Co-President of the Emerging Technology & Government Club and Co-President of the Watersports Club. Currently, he is also building a new venture using UAS technology that will help reduce pollution and traffic congestion in our social environments. Prior to Sloan, David worked as a sales contract negotiator at Airbus in Madrid, Spain. He negotiated aircraft and services contracts with European and Asian governments and has also worked as a program manager enabling the completion and delivery of Airbus’ most modern civil aircraft.

In his free time, David is trying to spend as much time as possible outdoors with surfing and snowboarding. David is also a private pilot. (LinkedIn)

Khatantuul Zorig Filer – VP of Startup Recruiting, Class of 2018

_MG_1355 (1)Khatantuul Zorig Filer (Khat) is a 2nd year MBA student at MIT Sloan School of Management where she spends most of her time working on the initial phase of her mobile app startup, learning about entrepreneurship and innovation, and finding ways to improve our lives, to advance our minds and bodies, and to make an impact in the world through emerging technologies (AI, Machine Learning, AR, VR, and IoT). Before coming to Sloan, she was a Technology Consultant at Accenture where she had variety of experiences in product development, business development, strategy, marketing, sales, finance, operations, analytics and project management for the defense sector. She studied Math and Statistics at University of Virginia. She was born and raised in Mongolia and hopes to help develop the country in the long term. (LinkedIn)

Eduardo Moore – VP of Marketing, Class of 2018

EMoore_PhotoEduardo is a second year MBA student at MIT Sloan where he is focused on entrepreneurship in the transportation industry. At MIT Sloan he serves as Marketing Vice President of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club, Marketing Vice President of the Watersports Club, and is a teaching assistant in the Corporate Finance and Proseminar in Investment Banking courses. Currently, he is also building a new venture using machine learning and facial/voice/text recognition technology that will help reduce accidents in the transportation and other industries. Prior to Sloan, Eduardo worked as a Senior Analyst at Lazard in Buenos Aires, Argentina, covering M&A deals around Latin America and the Caribbean. In his free time, Eduardo enjoys playing tennis, skiing, hiking, and hosting “asados” (argentine bbqs) with friends. (LinkedIn)

Rohit Ramchandani – VP of Community Outreach, Class of 2018

rohit-ramchandani-headshot-2.jpgRohit is a second year MBA student at MIT Sloan, where he serves as head of community outreach programs for the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Club.  He is also a VP in Sloan Senate, Program Lead for Sloan Ambassadors, Founder of the Male Allies Program and Founder of the Sloan Running Club.  Rohit focuses on emerging technologies to transform education and children’s media.  After graduating from the University of Waterloo, Rohit joined the technology consulting practice at Deloitte Consulting before transitioning to Google and interning at Udemy. Rohit enjoys cycling, hiking and going on adventure trips around the world (LinkedIn)
