Silicon Valley Pitch Trek: The 60-Second Pitch for Glory

Students getting the details on how the pitching will work – you can see the excitement!

On Wednesday September 17th, top entrepreneurs across all of MIT campus gathered in the Sloan building to attend the Sloan E&I Club Pitch Fest. Over 70 teams pitched their ideas to seasoned entrepreneurs and local VCs in the Boston Area. The top 10 teams, selected by the panel of 15 judges, will participate in the E&I Club Silicon Valley Pitch Trek in mid October, where they will pitch their business plans to the area’s top venture capitalist including Andreessen Horowitz, Greylock, Foundation Capital, and many more.

The evening was full of energy, anticipation, and excitement. Each of the 70 entrepreneurs had 60 seconds, and 60 seconds only to fully communicate their world changing ideas. Each idea had potential to disrupt conventional systems and solve impactful programs, and ideas ranged  from robotics to food, from local to developing countries..

After careful review, the judges selected the top 10 teams that are most ready for the Silicon Valley trek next month. Please join us in congratulating the winners (in no particular order):
